Darkened Maze

Darkened Maze is a top-down puzzle game where the player must navigate levels with only their torch light to guide them, however traps and enemies are activate and threaten the player when the torch is lit; so the player has to balance being able to see the level and being safe from danger. Can you beat the Darkened Maze, or will you get lost in the dark?

Developed for Kindred community Jam #4, with the theme- Don’t be Afraid of the dark. This game fits the theme as the player’s only way to see the level is their torch which has to be turned off to get past traps and enemies, making a dangerous environment when the torch is lit but not being able to see when it’s unlit.

The game utilises sounds from Freesound.org and fonts from Dafont.com (mentioned in credits menu).
